16Oct Dinner after Keys collection

Went to have a good dinner to celebrate keys collected. hahaha
Anyway I bought vouchers from Deals earlier so we went.
They served mainly BBQ, Beef, Fried and Sashimi.

Initially thought we will only use 1 voucher but hahaha we used up both of them. Cause the stuffs abit pricey.

But the wagyu beef was good. We ordered the roast beef. It is slightly raw but still yummy with no bloody taste.
The only letdown was that we wanted to order wagyu beef steak but they told us no more and left the chunks.. We were there around 7pm and they opened at 6pm. Sold Out?? So fast.. We seriously doubt it.

The fried rice was rated 2nd best by us cause we loved the fried taste in the rice. Yummy!!

16Oct Keys Collected..

Collected the keys for our house today after 2years wait.

So much things to do and go thru after this.

On the side note, realised it is relatively scary to have a balcony that is like at the edge..

Saturday Brunch

Forgot where is the place in the 1st brunch place.

2nd one I remembered was Ikea cause of the iconic chicken wings

5Oct Lunch after Church

Today brought pa to try something new at Queenstown somewhere near Ikea.
It is coffee shop but with all stores selling western food, like French cuisine, dessert like tiramisu, pasta and steak, burgers, chicken wings, seafood like seafood platter, etc..
For drinks they only have beer, coffee or smoothies.

They have destinated number of pax per table which they will indicate on the table.

The stalls started operating around 12pm, which oso means the crowd started coming in around that time. It really began very crowded where you need to find seats or wait for food for quite some time.

Like the comcept and food was not bad, just the my fish waited super duper long which I suspected that they might have forget.

29Sept 13th Pak Tor Anniversary

Had a lovely dinner at a far corner in Sentosa.
It has been so long since we eat out.
Initially there was no much people in the restaurant but the crowd came in the later part.

Today lunch at Korean restaurant - K Talk at Tanjong Pagar

Food was great with the yummy side dishes.

Price is relatively okay, as we really ate till super full

Today lunch venue is Sin Kee chicken rice

It was relatively okay. Used to be at Queenstown but was forced to move. Hence they relocated to a coffee shop amongst the HDB in between Holland V and Commonwealth

Today's lunch is at Food For Thoughts
Probably cause it was around 12noon when we reached, it was relatively crowded..

But as we need to wait for SIL to bring Toa to North area, so we were looking around to see if there are better seats, since we have a bb to cater to.

 

But that evening, hubby had to fly again!!!

So sad...

Wonder how long it will be....

 

30Aug Color Run 2014

 

 



A DAY TO GET OURSELVES COLORFUL!!!!!

 

 

Last year we came with SIL, BIL and Jo.

This year we came ourselves. Intially i signed my 2 ex-colleagues up as well.

But the 2 of them last minute fly aeroplane.

One was down & sick, the other totally no reply from her.

No next time for me helping them to sign up. I was trying to help them to get good deal in signing up but this is the outcome i get.

What a disappointment.

 

In any case, my sister went on behalf for 1 of them(the one sick).

We had FUN with the color powder, especially at the Color Party after completed the run.

 

Last year the colors was Pink, Blue, Yellow and Red!

This year something different:

Blue, Orange, Green and Red!!

 

Personally, i prefer the color in the color pack that was given to each runner after crossing the finishing line.

Which is PURPLE!!

There was no this color last year though.

I was wondering how come besides purple, there aren't any else.

Later part, i guess they started giving out randomly..

I saw orange, green and yellow appearing in the Color Party.

Lol..

 

Ultimately, we were super colorful from head to toe(shoes).

This year, though only 3 of us, but we had FUN.

Weekly Siunday Event:

Lunch after Church

Today lunch at Marina Country Club.
Super duper far.. We are like at the customs going to Malaysia already.
But the food is reasonable and not crowded.
Had bowling session there too with FIL, Hubby and Jo.

But I guess we exerted it a little too much. (Given that the country club is located in a relatively far area, and there are no many pple there)

No many pple will purposely go there to use the facilities there.

The lane's barrier broke down during our 2nd game.

Haiz...

16Aug Brunch Time

It has been super duper long that we had brunch together.
So suggested to go La Marelle at somewhere near my office.
It was nothing great.
Prices still okay, but coffee was not good.
