22062014 - Venture into River Safari

It was a really short notice decision to decide to River Safari today.
Yesterday we were talking about some hello panda thingy that we then came up with the idea of going River Safari to see panda today. Lol..
It was rare that mummy wanted to ask uncle and aunt along that we were happy too. It has been such a long time since we came out with them.

BUT, it was pouring in the morning that made us quite sianz to see such weather.
It did came across my mind to postpone the trip, but my sis and mummy still wants to go.
Hence we still proceed.

By the time we reached, it was already 9plus, and there was quite abit of crowd already at the zoo and river safari.
Initially part was still okay, but as we walked, we felt SOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOT!!!!
And there was this group of tourists from Hong Kong. They were practically talking super loudly, kept emphasizing all animals etc are fake.
I was thinking 'Please lah, how can they be fake when we are like in the River safari.....' Of course real la... theeeeeeee'

Then we finally reached the place where the STARS stay..
First that welcome us was Red panda, which was sooo super cute.
They even walked around and up the branches.  So cute..
Then here comes the panda..
Also took the boat ride that cost $5. But I think can skip the boat ride cause really nothing much.

15062014 A day full of Love

Waked up to a great morning with my hubby beside me.. hugz..

Went church with in-laws in the morning. It had been really a long time since hubby and I went for mass. After mass, it was quite a heavy downpour, which dampen hubby’s plan quite a bit.

He planned to go for some outdoor dining but in such weather, we will be wet by then we finished eating. Hence, we went for a simple lunch at Dempsey – House.

It was a cosy environment with quite a large crowd in this kind of weather. Cause personally, I think Dempsey is quite inconvenient without car. After dining, we wanted to go back TBC to cut cake, but then as my sis and mummy were still outside, so we dropped by Vivocity before heading back. Also picked up the Loom thingy that Jo wants. After cake cutting at TBC, we rested a while before heading back to DC. The moment Jo saw the Loom thingy, he tucked himself in our room and started his manufacturing.. He was rushing one for hubby and one for me. He kept emphasizing that he had no time and wanted to ask me to learn and help him to do.

Dinner Time!! SIL ordered a spread of buffet for dining at home so that we can save the hassle to go out and squeeze with the Fathers day crowd.

They also ordered a cake for me made of lychee martini. It was yummy and cute, with the colored flamed candles as decoration. The colourful candles will have flames of the same candle color, which was so interesting.

For Fathers day gift for FIL, managed to customise a iphone case, with photo of him taken with Christabel and Jo. Hope he liked it.

Then the time comes when hubby need to fly back already.. Time is short but I feel that he managed to spend quality time with his family, ah ma, my family and me. Hopefully he din find it sianz to hang out with me at my house.

This time round, I was really surprised to receive well wishes from some friends or ex-colleagues like Ethan.. He really shocked me and furthermore he was the first one to wish me.. So touched.

Felt so blessed today when i received so many well wishes from friends & relatives all around the globe, via FB and pm. Thank you for the wonderful birthday wishes and gifts.

14062014 Meet Christabel

After the solemnisation this late morning, we made a trip to ah ma house before heading for Fathers day dinner with my family at Beng Hiang.

Finally!!!! He is back for 2 days!

Finally!!!
The weekend I had been waiting for...
Hubby is back for the weekend....ONLY.....
This was a hectic weekend for us.
First is YL & LC ROM.
Then is my birthday.
Lastly, Fathers day.

 

Hubby only touched down Singapore like 12am plus.

And rushed home to start up his pc (as usual)....

We had abit of chat etc, and was already 2am when i only came to know that we need to be at the solemnisation place at 9am to help out. When the solemnisation start at 11am.

 

 

14062014 A day of water and love

Congrats to YL and LC!!!
Was really glad to be invited to their solemnisation at Museo at Sentosa Cove.
It was very nice place with superb nice view of yachts.
However, it was raining heavily since this morning.
Though decorations were still done in the restaurant itself, but initial plan of having outdoor solemnisation had to be called off.
Personally i thought the indoor solemnisation was really nice and heart warming when they have a staircase that linked the first floor (where they usually have the drawing sessions set up there), to the second floor (dining area).

Although we had the decorations done up but one thing was missing which by the time i realised it, it is already too late............... The flower petals to be spread on the staircase to the solemnisation area.
If this was in place, i think the whole decorations will be worth 100 points.

Today is Joshua's 3rd Bday Celebration at their house.
Bought 2 tees for him from Isetan.
Hopefully he like can fit..

Customised a iphone case from Casetagram for pa..
It took only around 5days to reach me after i placed my order.
The Iphone case was relatively in good quality but i am abit disappointed with the Samsung case, which seems abit frimzy..
Hope that he likes it..
